Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, molasses, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool before removing from the pan.
  9. Decorate with powdered sugar as desired.
