Instructions

- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into house shapes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Assemble the house using royal icing and decorate with candies.
