Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Royal icing for decoration
- Assorted candies for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Roll out the dough and cut pieces for the stadium structure.
- Bake the pieces for 10-12 minutes until firm.
- Let the pieces cool completely.
- Assemble the stadium using royal icing as glue.
- Decorate with icing and candies to your liking.
