Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and milk until combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. In another bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
  7. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  8. Frost the cooled cake with the creamy mixture.
  9. Press shredded coconut onto the frosting.
  10. Slice and serve.
