A delicious dessert made with fresh apricots and a crunchy topping.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh apricots, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced apricots with a little sugar if desired.
- In another bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Spread apricots in a baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
- If using, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Can substitute peaches for apricots.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
