A delicious baked version of classic French toast.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish.
- Arrange the bread slices in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the bread.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
Notes
- Use any type of bread.
- Can add fruit or nuts for extra flavor.
- Best served warm.
