Ingredients

  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crock pot.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic on top of the roast.
  3. Layer sliced carrots and diced potatoes around the beef.
  4. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
