Ingredients

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the beef brisket with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sear the brisket on all sides.
  4. Remove brisket and add onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until softened.
  5. Add beef broth, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  6. Place the brisket in a roasting pan and pour the sauce mixture over it.
  7. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 3-4 hours, until tender.
  8. Remove brisket and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Serve on buns with coleslaw if desired.
