Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add barbecue sauce, onions, green peppers, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well to coat the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Serve on buns or with rice.
