Ingredients

- 1 egg, beaten

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Roll the dough into football shapes.
- Prepare a baking soda bath by boiling water and adding baking soda.
- Dip each pretzel in the baking soda bath for 30 seconds.
- Place pretzels on a baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with yellow mustard for dipping.
