Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup buttercream frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1 cup mini candies
  • Green food coloring
  • White fondant
  • Black fondant

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Pour batter into two round cake pans.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Let cakes cool completely.
  6. Carve the top of one cake to create a dome shape.
  7. Layer the dome cake with buttercream frosting and mini candies.
  8. Place the other cake on top to form a ball.
  9. Cover the entire cake with chocolate frosting.
  10. Roll out white fondant and cut out football laces.
  11. Decorate the cake with white laces and use green food coloring for grass effect.
