Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg whites until frothy.
  4. Gradually add granulated sugar while beating until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold in the almond flour mixture gently.
  6. Add cocoa powder and mix until combined.
  7. Pipe football shapes onto a baking sheet.
  8. Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Let cool completely before filling.
  11. For the filling, mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  12. Add food coloring to match your team colors.
  13. Pipe filling onto half of the shells and top with the other half.
