Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add molasses and egg to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out pieces for the house.
- Bake pieces for 10-12 minutes until firm.
- Let the pieces cool completely.
- Prepare icing by mixing powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
- Use icing to assemble the gingerbread house.
- Decorate with candies and use food coloring for football themes.
