Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add bell pepper, kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes
