Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. Color one green and the other brown.
- Pour the brown batter into a round cake pan and the green into a rectangular pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool, then layer them to create a football field and a baseball diamond.
- Decorate with white and red icing to represent the sports.
