Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks (68 oz each)
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven to finish cooking for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
  6. While the steaks are in the oven, prepare the lobster tails.
  7. Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise and season with salt and pepper.
  8. In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic.
  9. Add the lobster tails, meat side down, and cook for 5-6 minutes until they are opaque.
  10. Remove steaks and lobster from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  11. Serve the filet mignon with lobster tails on the side, garnished with parsley.
