Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Add red wine, butter, and balsamic vinegar to the skillet.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, steam the asparagus for 5 minutes and toss with lemon juice.
  8. Remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve the steaks with asparagus on the side.
