A simple and healthy tofu recipe for the Daniel Fast.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional)
- Fresh vegetables of choice
Instructions
- Cut the tofu into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Add tofu cubes to the bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add marinated tofu and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add fresh vegetables and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- Use fresh, seasonal vegetables.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can be served over brown rice or quinoa.
