A simple bread recipe suitable for the Daniel Fast.
Ingredients

- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon yeast
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine water, yeast, and honey. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the mixture. Stir until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the loaf in a greased pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- This bread is free from animal products.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for later use.
