A simple and delicious crock pot recipe for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (10–12 lbs)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
Instructions
- Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
- Place the onion, carrots, and celery in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.
- Place the turkey on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.
- Pour the chicken broth around the turkey.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the turkey is fully cooked.
- Remove the turkey and let it rest before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F.
- Cook times may vary based on the size of the turkey.
