Ingredients

  • 1 onion, quartered

Instructions

  1. Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry.
  2. Place the onion, carrots, and celery in the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Season the turkey with salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Place the turkey on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.
  5. Pour the chicken broth around the turkey.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the turkey is fully cooked.
  7. Remove the turkey and let it rest before carving.
