Cranberry orange thumbprint cookies are sweet and tangy treats filled with cranberry jam.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cranberry jam
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light.
- Add the egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture.
- Stir in the orange zest.
- Shape dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Make an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with cranberry jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.

- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Can substitute jam with other flavors.
