A simple recipe for cooking canned black-eyed peas.

- 2 cans black-eyed peas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup vegetable broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cumin, and cook for 1 minute.
- Drain and rinse black-eyed peas.
- Add black-eyed peas and vegetable broth to the pan.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
