Description
A cob loaf is a hollowed-out round loaf of bread filled with a creamy dip.

- 1 round cob loaf
- 250g cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cut the top off the cob loaf and hollow out the inside.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, grated cheese, green onions, bacon bits, and garlic powder.
- Fill the hollowed-out loaf with the mixture.
- Place the lid back on the loaf and wrap it in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve warm with the bread pieces for dipping.
Notes
- Substitute bacon with chopped vegetables for a vegetarian option.
- Adjust garlic powder according to your taste.
- Can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
