Description

A festive dessert layered with cake, cream, and fruit.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 2 cups custard
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup sherry or fruit juice

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the pound cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle dish.
  2. Drizzle with half of the sherry or fruit juice.
  3. Spread half of the raspberry jam on top.
  4. Add half of the mixed berries over the jam.
  5. Pour half of the custard over the berries.
  6. Add half of the whipped cream on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
