- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- 2 cups of marinara sauce
- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Serve with toothpicks for easy eating.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated.
