Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in cranberries and nuts.
- Fill muffin tins with batter about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Can substitute cranberries with raisins or chocolate chips.
- For extra flavor, add orange zest.
