- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cubed bread, sausage, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
- Use your favorite type of cheese.
