Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  5. Add nuts if desired and mix well.
  6. Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature until set.
  8. Cut into squares before serving.
