A simple recipe for rich and creamy Christmas fudge.
Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
- Add nuts if desired and mix well.
- Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Allow to cool at room temperature until set.
- Cut into squares before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Fudge can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
