Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups of water
- 2 cups of malted barley
- 1 cup of hops
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 cup of dried fruit
Instructions
- Heat water in a large pot.
- Add malted barley and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add hops and continue simmering for another 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool the mixture.
- Add yeast and stir well.
- Transfer to a fermentation vessel and seal.
- Let it ferment for two weeks.
- Bottle the beer and let it condition for another week.
- Chill and serve.
