Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 cups of malted barley
  • 1 cup of hops
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of dried fruit

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a large pot.
  2. Add malted barley and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add hops and continue simmering for another 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and cool the mixture.
  5. Add yeast and stir well.
  6. Transfer to a fermentation vessel and seal.
  7. Let it ferment for two weeks.
  8. Bottle the beer and let it condition for another week.
  9. Chill and serve.
