Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs; mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on the sheets for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
