Description

Delicious chocolate thumbprint cookies filled with jam.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fruit jam of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Roll dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Make an indentation in the center of each ball.
  7. Fill each indentation with jam.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Let cool before serving.
