- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- Dip onion rings in flour mixture, then into beaten eggs.
- Coat with breadcrumbs and sprinkle cheese over them.
- Fry the rings in hot oil until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
