Ingredients

- 1 cup masa harina
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a pot, combine masa harina and water. Stir until smooth.
- Add milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon to the pot.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Serve hot, optionally topped with whipped cream.

- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Use almond milk for a dairy-free option.
