Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.
- Insert sticks into the apples.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
- Heat over medium until the mixture boils.
- Add vanilla and food coloring.
- Cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Dip each apple into the candy mixture.
- Place on parchment paper to cool.
