Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttercream frosting
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool completely.
  9. Frost the cookies with buttercream frosting and add food coloring and sprinkles, if desired.
