Description

Buckeyes are delicious chocolate-covered peanut butter balls.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and vegetable oil together in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Dip each ball into the chocolate, covering it except for a small portion on top.
  7. Place back on the baking sheet and let the chocolate set.

Notes
