Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Drizzle some caramel sauce over the batter.
  9. Pour the remaining batter and top with more caramel sauce.
  10. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before slicing.
