- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package frozen hash browns
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the cooked sausage, hash browns, bell peppers, onions, and cheese to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute the sausage with bacon or ham.
- Add your favorite vegetables for extra flavor.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
