- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Red food coloring
- Whipped cream for topping
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in milk and vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Mix in red food coloring until desired shade is reached.
- Pour batter into a bento cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing from the pan.
- Top with whipped cream and decorate with strawberries.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use other fruits for decoration if preferred.
