Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out bee shapes using the cookie cutter.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely before decorating with icing.
