- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- Red food coloring
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Add red food coloring to reach desired color.
- Pour the batter into a greased heart-shaped pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be decorated with frosting or sprinkles.
- Adjust the food coloring for a deeper red if desired.
