A Valentine’s Day birthday cake that combines love and celebration.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture, then mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Frost the cake with whipped cream.
- Decorate with fresh strawberries.
Notes
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.
- Use a cake leveler for an even top.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
