A delicious Valentine cake perfect for celebrating love.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Fresh strawberries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Frost with whipped cream and decorate with strawberries.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use ripe strawberries for better flavor.
- Can substitute cocoa powder with extra flour for a vanilla cake.
