A classic baked ziti recipe with rich marinara sauce and melted cheese.

- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked ziti to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Spread half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add the remaining ziti mixture and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked ground meat or vegetables for more flavor.
- Substitute gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
