Description

A classic baked ziti recipe with rich marinara sauce and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked ziti to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Spread half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Add the remaining ziti mixture and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • You can add cooked ground meat or vegetables for more flavor.
