These are simple thumbprint cookies made with just five ingredients.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fruit jam
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the flour and salt, mix until combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Make an indent in the center of each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indent with fruit jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Use any flavor of jam you like.
- For a firmer cookie, chill the dough before baking.
