Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before glazing.
