Ingredients
- Dark chocolate: 170 grams (6 ounces)
- Unsalted butter: 115 grams (1/2 cup)
- Granulated sugar: 100 grams (1/2 cup)
- Eggs: 2 large eggs and 2 large egg yolks
- All-purpose flour: 30 grams (1/4 cup)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: A pinch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Grease four ramekins with unsalted butter and dust with cocoa powder.
- Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together in a microwave-safe bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until pale and thickened.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, add vanilla extract and salt, then fold in the flour.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm and the center is soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges and invert onto plates to serve.
