Description
Twice baked potatoes are a delicious and hearty dish made from baked potatoes that are scooped out, mixed with fillings, and baked again until golden.

- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and pierce the potatoes with a fork.
- Bake the potatoes for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Let the potatoes cool slightly, then cut them in half lengthwise.
- Scoop out the insides and place them in a bowl.
- Add cheese, sour cream, milk, butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Mash until smooth and mix in the green onions.
- Fill the potato skins with the mixture.
- Return the filled potatoes to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
Notes
- You can add bacon bits for extra flavor.
