Delicious turtle caramel cake with layers of chocolate and caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and butter.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips over the batter.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt to the caramel.
