- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of celery, chopped
- 1 cup of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon of sage
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add celery and onion; sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, mix cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
